Instrument Sizing Guide

For Violinists and Violists: Have your student fully extend their left arm out to their side. Before measuring, have your student bring their left arm forward about twenty degrees or so. Place a ruler from the base of the neck out to the line where the hand and arm meet. Note this measurement. Use the chart below to find the closest size to the measurement you took. When in doubt, choose the smaller size.

For Cellists: Have your student stand up straight. Measure from the floor to the center of the sternum or breastbone area. Take note of the measurement. Use the chart below to find the closest size to the measurement that you took. When in doubt, choose the smaller size.

Repairs and Maintenance:

Most repairs and adjustments can be made to instruments while you wait – including string replacement.

Low Cost Insurance:

For a low monthly fee, we personally insure every instrument against theft or major catastrophe. Bridges, bow repair, broken strings, and sound post adjustments are also covered.

No Interest Charges:

We do not charge any interest on our agreement. This is a rental agreement and not a purchase agreement.

Rental Fees Toward Purchase:

The first year of rental fees do apply toward the possible purchase of the instrument you are renting or any other instrument.
